Now less than six weeks away, the Black Combat event hosting Chinese fighters from WLF now has over half a lineup revealed.
Details are still scant on broadcast mediums and a venue for the event, but Wulinfeng revealed today on their WeChat channel six of the seven Chinese competitors for the co-promoted show, which takes place on July 13th in Busan, South Korea. A team from Black Combat is in WLF's home city of Zhengzhou, China, this week to film content for the event.
A pair of Chinese standout flyweights will highlight the collision of nations as Feng Tianhao and Agulali will compete in Black Combat vs. WLF. Feng (15-3) recently saw a 13-fight win streak broken in March in a unanimous decision loss to Zhou Kun, which was contested for the WLF flyweight championship. Before that, Feng was taking out every challenge the promotion could throw his way with relative ease.
Agulali (10-1) is still on a tear of his own, winning five straight across multiple promotions. He most recently beat Russia's Murad Kurbanov at Canggu Fight Night 28 last December, earning his most impressive victory to date. The Yi ethnic minority is just nineteen years old.
The other Chinese fighters confirmed for the card are Zhang Xizhen, Kalinu Kadelibieke, Shalawati Hali, and Aorigele.
For the Black Combat side, three fighters have been announced for the competition. Via the Black Combat Instagram page, Lee Jin Se and Yoon Ho Young will fight on July 13th against unknown opponents. In addition, Guam heavyweight Roque Martinez announced on his Instagram that he will also fight at Black Combat vs. WLF.
