DEEP Osaka Impact returns to the Japanese hub of Osaka for the second time in 2024 this Sunday, with over two dozen fights featuring Japan MMA fighters.
In the main event, it's straight into the deep end for 3-1 flyweight Soru Hamaguchi, as he fights the far more experienced Tomohiro Adaniya (18-18-3). Hamaguchi has won his last two straight, and fought all four professional MMA fights with DEEP.
Adaniya has lost five of his last eight, but consistently fought far more experienced fighters than Hamaguchi. The 37-year old has fought in MMA since 2008, competing over fifty times in amateur and professional MMA.
DEEP Osaka Impact does boast one undefeated prospect, as Kei Maezono (6-0) will look to earn his seventh straight win when he fights 2-1 Brazilian Raphael Yuji Pereira at featherweight. He'll put his submission skills- which have earned him half of his six wins- against the Brazilian, which is his first non-Brazilian opponent.
