After a month off, One Pride MMA returns to Jakarta with One Pride Fight Night 78.
In the main event, One Pride strawweight champion Rustam Hutajulu defends his belt against Charles Ebu. Hutajulu (7-4) upset former champion and Road to UFC alum Billy Pasulatan last year to capture the title, employing a strong wrestling attack to win a close split decision.
Ebu (4-2), his opponent, represents the large Indonesian gym Han Fighting Academy. He earned his shot at the belt with a TKO win over Eka Darmawansyah last December, where he pummeled Eka into submission with knees.
The three-fight main card airs live on the One Pride YouTube channel at 11am EST / 8am PST through a paid subscription, and the preliminary card will air in segments over the next few Saturdays. This article will be updated weekly with preliminary results (listed below).
