URCC: Kaogma Collision features flyweight title fight, Yuki Angdembe in Camarines Sur

URCC: Kaogma Collision poster

URCC- the top MMA promotion in the Philippines- is coming back next week with a lot to pay attention to with URCC: Kaogma Collision on May 25th.

The event takes place at the Fuerte Sports Complex in Camarines Sur, Philippines. No broadcast plans have been announced by the promotion, but the events typically stream on their social media channels.

The main event will be a flyweight title fight between Eros Baluyot (3-0) of the Philippines and South Korea's Kim Kyung Joong (3-1). Baluyot, while just 3-0, has fought fighters far above his experience level in each professional fight and submitted two of them. Capturing the URCC flyweight title would cement him as a top prospect, something the Philippines could badly use more of.

In the main event, top Nepali fighter Yuki Angdembe (4-1) fights Ryan Boyles (0-1). Angdembe who trains out of Soma Fight in Bali, Indonesia, is undoubtedly the top fighter current from Nepal. A veteran of Matrix Fight Night, Island Fighters League, and Cage Warriors, Angdembe is currently on a four-fight win streak.

Another Filipino prospect in action at URCC: Kaogma Collision include Robin Leonen (5-1) Leonen is coming off a fight with Road to UFC flyweight John Almanza where the fight was stopped after round one for a doctor's stoppage. Before that loss, Leonen was undefeated in five professional appearances.
