Just two weeks after in event China's Xinjiang province, WKG & M-1 Global team up once again for another night of fights in northwest China.
Ten MMA fights are set to go down in Aksu later today in the Aksu Gymnasium. All eyes will be on the Chinese-Kazakh in the main event, Taiyilake Nueraji. The young welterweight has a perfect finishing rate and seems incredibly close to making the jump to the UFC. Back-to-back finishes in non-tournament Road to UFC fights earned him the admiration of scores of new fans who looked forward to Taiyilake continuing his violent run in the UFC.
Instead, Nueraji has fought outside the Endeavor, appearing in Naiza FC in February. Matched against dangerous Brazilian Dhouglas Ribeiro, "Super Saiyan" made quick work of of his more experienced foe. A finish at WKG & M-1 would only solidify Taiyilake's destiny in the Octagon.
His opponent, Maxim Shimchenko, is an 8-3 Russian who's made the rounds on the regional Russian MMA scene. He's riding a three-fight win streak, including two first-round finishes by TKO.
The whole card airs on the WKG Douyin channel, linked below.
